How to denounce Russia' war in the Third World
Russian propaganda is strong in the Third World. India and South Africa abstained from the March 2 UN GA resolution to stop Russia’s aggression (while Brazil and Indonesia supported it). Those who abstained from Russia's expulsion from the UN Council for Human Rights like India, Indonesia, Brazil, and South Africa do not want to complicate relations with Russia. However, in the voting on Russia’s suspension from the UN Council for Human Rights abstentions were not counted, the decision was made based on 2/3 of those who voted. So the practical thing was that these countries were not against the resolution. Interestingly, Serbia voted for both resolutions denouncing Russia. Let us continue to work on the diplomatic front whatever the difficulty is.
